Question 3

Accepted Answer

Kling 4.0's Omni Reference supports up to 15 combined reference assets in a single generation. These references can guide character appearance, movement, camera direction, scene composition, and visual style.

Question 4

What's the difference between Kling Video 4.0 and 3.0?

Accepted Answer

Kling 4.0 improves fast-paced motion, physical interactions, cinematic camera control, and multimodal reference generation. It extends native video generation from 15 to 30 seconds, supports up to 10 flexible keyframes, and allows up to 15 combined reference assets. Creative Recreation, targeted video editing, and stronger character consistency offer additional control over video creation and revision

Question 5

Can Kling 4.0 generate videos from both text and images?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Kling 4.0 supports text-to-video, image-to-video, and reference-based generation within a unified multimodal workflow. You can start with a prompt or image, combine multiple creative references, or work from existing video footage. The model also supports Creative Recreation and targeted video editing for developing new versions of existing scenes.

Question 6

How many keyframes does Kling 4.0 support?

Accepted Answer

Kling 4.0 supports up to 10 flexible keyframe images in a single video generation. Use keyframes to guide character poses, camera composition, scene transitions, product reveals, and other important moments. The model generates movement between these references, giving you greater control over how a video develops.

Question 7

How long can Kling 4.0 generate videos?

Accepted Answer

Kling 4.0 generates videos from 3 to 30 seconds in a single pass. For longer content, Video Extension supports multiple continuation passes before or after an existing clip, reaching a total duration of up to 2 minutes. This allows creators to develop longer actions and connected story sequences while using the original footage to guide continuity.

Question 8

What resolution and dynamic range does Kling 4.0 support?

Accepted Answer

Kling 4.0 supports native video output up to 4K, with aspect ratios including 21:9, 16:9, 1:1, and 9:16. The 21:9 ultrawide format provides more room for cinematic compositions and large-scale scenes. 1080p and 4K is coming soon. It will offer richer color detail, smoother tonal transitions, and improved preservation of highlights and shadows in high-contrast footage.
